
Keto Cinnamon Stars
Keto friendly, Sugar-free, Gluten-free, Dairy-free. Cinnamon Stars are german christmas cookies and they are full of frangrances! It is a dream, to be able to enjoy these without sugar! Enjoy😊

Ingredients
- 240 g Finely ground almonds 2 cups
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1 ml or 20 drops Orange oil 100% natural
- Ca. 60 g Egg whites from 2 medium sized eggs
- A pinch of Salt 1/8 teaspoon
- 90 g Powdered erythritol 3/4 cup
Instructions
- Add the salt to the egg whites and beat until foamy.
- Add powdered erythritol little by little while whisking, until soft peaks form.
- Set aside 3 heaped tablespoons of it, for the frosting.
- Mix ground almonds, cinnamon and orange oil in a big mixing bowl.
- Add the egg white mixture to it, and mix until well combined.
- Continue with your hand, knead until the dough comes together to one ball.
- On a silicon matt or on a clean non sticking surface, roll out the dough to ca. 1 cm thickness.
- Use a star cookie cutter and cut out the stars. Depending on the size of the cutter and the thickness, you will have 22 to 27 stars.
- Preheat the oven to 110ºC/230ºF.
- Frost all the cookies with the egg white frosting we've saved before. Using a small knife would help spreading to the points of the stars.
- Place them all on a baking sheet lined with a parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, until fragrant and dry, but not yet colored.
- Let them cool.
- Enjoy!
